Sarah Armstrong
Sarah’s background in management consulting developed strengths centering in strategic planning, including market analyses, operational assessments and financial modeling. She received her MBA in finance and strategy from Washington University, and worked for 3+ years in healthcare consulting with ECG Management Consultants prior to joining Matisia in 2009. Currently, she is a Product Launch Consultant in Worldwide Licensing and Pricing (WWLP) at Microsoft. In addition to managing global prices for more than 20 products, she is involved in product launch process improvement and issue management. Sarah possesses a versatile skill set and expertise in operation assessment, due to her consulting experience and knowledge of the healthcare and technology industries. In her spare time, she is an avid skier and cyclist.

Ray Bachert
Ray worked at Microsoft from 1996 to 2005 then took a three year sabbatical to teach IT Project Management at the University Of Canterbury. He returned to Microsoft in 2008 working on a project for services and was one of the first employees at Matisia.

With 15+ years of IT project management and consulting experience, he has an extensive knowledge of SAP products, business intelligence and finance systems. Ray’s accounting background combined with his passion for building and improving systems, has allowed him to excel as a consultant. He has traveled extensively for his work, and enjoys travelling, skiing, surfing and reading in his spare time.

My strength is in taking unstructured processes and putting structure around it – what always appealed to me was figuring out how to get the data to solve the problem. Jason Brown
Jason is a seasoned software consultant who has worked in the IT industry for over 7 years. Jason is sought after for his strong technical background and extensive experience in managing and engineering software products. After receiving his degree in computer science from Central Washington University, he worked as a software engineer and consultant for the Washington State Department of Licensing, Department of Social and Health Services and Reader’s Digest before joining Matisia as a Product Manager in 2008. He has been involved with software projects that ranged from internet driver’s license renewal, ecommerce, social networking, and corporate finance.

Jason enjoys cycling to work, as well as group riding on the weekends. In addition to cycling, Jason uses his spare time to travel with his wife, read industry blogs, walk his Australian Shepherd, and catch the latest flicks.

“I believe my in depth technical experience gives me a unique understanding of how requirements will impact the development team, and how to communicate those impacts to the client in a cost versus benefit manner. Managing software products is all about client expectations. Setting those expectations in the context of the project scope and schedule is the key to a successful project.”

David Castelli
David is a seasoned project manager with 20+ years of experience in the IT industry. He has wide knowledge of systems engineering, small business operations, program development and management and extensive expertise in SAP, SQL, Excel and ASP. In the past, he has worked as a project manager in SAP and BW at Microsoft, where he is currently managing a volume licensing pricing project. He joined Matisia in 2009, sought after for his hands-on approach and his dedication to seeing a project through from beginning to end. Outside of work, when he is not building cars or working on his solar energy projects, he plays the guitar and piano, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Phillip Gerity
Philip has been a management consultant in the software, healthcare and insurance industries for 5+ years. He has worked with organizations around the country in developing financially-driven business strategies and process improvements. Phil joined Matisia in early 2009, and is currently working at Microsoft as a product launch consultant in Worldwide Licensing and Pricing. Previously, Phil held positions with ECG Management Consultants and Milliman where he advised health care organizations on strategic business issues, performance measurement, and process improvement. Hallmarks of Philip's work are his rare combination of strategic vision and tactical skills and his dedication to seeing client work through to the finish line. He is an avid tennis player and enjoys the outdoors and photography.

Alissa Woodworth
Alissa has spent 9+ years in the banking industry, working primarily in capital market services and 3+ years in the healthcare industry. She holds an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University and an MA in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. Previously, she worked with ECG Management Consulting before joining Matisia in 2009, where she is currently applying her analytical skills to product launch consulting. She has a strong background in strategic planning, financial analysis and project management as well as significant experience in client relationship management. In her spare time, she volunteers, enjoys hiking and is somewhat of a gastronome..
